-New York Arbor gallery, at
Beach 114th and RBB, hosts its
first annual Summer Show! Fea-
tured artists Linda Brandwein,
Susan Graham, Roberta Lawson,
Christopher Saucedo and Joel
Stoehr evoke “the essence of the
summertime season.” Gallery
hours Tuesday-Friday 6 p.m. to
sundown; Saturday/Sunday 3 to
8 p.m. through August 15.
-Topless gallery’s newest ex-
hibitions feature artists Gavin
Kenyon and Aude Pariset, and
the “Heatsink,” with Michael
Freeman Badour and Liam
Gallery hours every Saturday
and Sunday from12 to 7 all sum-
mer. At Beach 91st Street and
Rockaway Beach Boulevard.
-The Rockaway Artists Alliance
and MoMA PS 1 team up for two
amazing exhibitions under one
banner, Rockaway, at Fort Tilden.
Rockaway Artists Alliance
presents “Forbidden Fruit”-
Street Art in a National Park,”
featuring large-scale works cre-
ated by fourteen diverse artists
in RAA’s galleries, exclusively
for this show. They range in, out
and around RAA’s T-7 Gallery.
Just off Fort Tilden’s beach
artist, Katharina Grosse has
transformed the old Aquat-
ics Building into an immense,
breathtaking painting. The ex-
hibition was curated by Klaus
Biesenbach and hosted by
RAA’s gallery hours are Satur-
day/Sunday from12 to4p.m. and
by special arrangement. Kathar-
ina Grosse’s work can be viewed
at all hours Fort Tilden is open.
