The complaint department has received the following requests: Can you please report that Stop & Shop never has any meat? Can you please have someone do something about (utility) wires that are a big mess? A lot of the wires are dead and should be removed. (Verizon says it’s Spectrum; Spectrum says it’s PSEG; PSEG says it’s Thomas Edison’s fault and Thomas Edison was unavailable). Residents of the Dayton Beach Park buildings say a towing company has been towing and booting their cars from their paid parking spots, and claim management has been less than helpful. Sounds like a call is in order to the City Councilwoman? Ariola’s office can be reached at: 718-318-6411.

Kudos to Bugsy Goldberg for – when he’s not running the Bugalou music series–thinking about things like naming the Summer Classic Women’s Open Division in honor of the late, great Clare Droesch. A brief ceremony was held in between games in the St. Francis gym on Monday night and Clare’s parents, George and Patty Droesch, were on hand.
