Easy Air Fryer Flat Iron Steak

  Quick and easy no fuss steak.

 Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 beef flat iron or boneless top sirloin steak (3/4 pound)
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt

 

Directions:

Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the steak. Place steak (which should be at room temperature) in the air fryer basket. Cook until meat reaches desired doneness. (for medium rare it should read 135 degrees, medium 140degrees, medium well 145 degrees), 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through cooking.

Remove from tray and let rest 5 minutes. Cut across the grain.

I like to use Peter Luger sauce, but any steak sauce will do.
