So, the Big News coming out of the World of Professional Wrestling are the rumors and reports that current WWE Superstar Roman Reigns may be leaving the WWE. Now, where did these rumors come from? Well, from Roman Reigns himself! Yes, during a recent house show in Trenton, New Jersey Roman took to the microphone and addressed the crowd by saying that "I have been here a couple of times in the past 10 years and I'm starting to work into a new phase in my career, and I honestly don't know if I'll be back here again"
Roman, went on to say "I just wanna say thank you for all the years of support." Now, does that mean that after his contract is up, that he will not re-sign with the WWE? Or, is he done with professional wrestling completely?
This has wrestling fans lighting up the internet and many speculating if Roman Reigns will show up at another wrestling promotion. Reports have been circulating, that AEW Owner Tony Khan has apparently offered as much as $10 mil to sign the WWE Superstar. Now, in my opinion right now all we can do is speculate. If the reports of Tony Khan offering $10 million are true, can the WWE counter that offer and how high of an offer are they willing to extend? We will continue to keep you updated as this story continues to develop.
We have an injury to report as we have learned that WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair has suffered a "fracture of the radius" coming out of her match at WrestleMania, where she dropped the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship to Ronda Rousey in a 'I Quit Match." At this time, we do not know how long this injury will keep Charlotte Flair out of wrestling but we will keep you updated.
The Question of the Week comes from Naleen J. in Rockaway Park and she asked, "I'm thinking of starting training to become a Pro Wrestler, any recommendations or advice you can give me?' Naleen, first and foremost, make sure you have a secondary profession you can fall back on, just in case wrestling doesn't work out for any reason. Second, find a reputable school you can attend and be prepared to train harder than you ever have trained because the training is not easy and it takes time to develop the skills needed to be successful. But, the key will be dedication. Wrestling is tough on the body and soul. Really, think about what you will be getting into and search deep in yourself to see if this is really something you want to do.
