Curtain’s up! A new year of shows are coming to the Rockaway Theatre Company’s John Gilleece Theater in Fort Tilden, and there’s still time to get a season pass to catch them all.

The Rockaway Theatre Company has released their lineup for the year. The RTC just wrapped up their Young People’s Theatre Workshop performances of Shrek Jr. The Musical and they’re readying to debut Finding Nemo, Jr. in February, which is already sold out!

However, auditions just wrapped up for the musical, Monty Python’s SPAMALOT, which will run from March 28 through April 13, with a runtime of two hours and 30 minutes. From May 23 through June 9, they’ll be performing The Value, a new play, running for 90 minutes. From July 25 through August 20, they’ll have musical, Sweet Charity, running two hours and 30 minutes. From September 26 through October 12, will be August: Osage County, a tragicomedy play running three hours and 20 minutes. Finally, they’ll end the regular season with musical, Hair, running from November 21 through December 7, at two hours and 30 minutes.

As always, folks can buy tickets for each show for about $20-$25 throughout the season, but theater buffs have a chance to buy a discounted season pass for $110 for adults or $85 for seniors to catch all five shows. The deadline to buy the discounted season pass is Friday, January 31. It can be purchased online at: www.rockawaytheatrecompany.org
