Matrimony on the Sea
‘Til flat surf do they part. Some choose churches, catering halls, parks or even on the beach to get married. But on Friday, August 8, Brian Tunick and Val Petrova wed where it’s wet in the place they met—the ocean on Beach 90th Street. The local surfers met there a few years ago, got engaged at the end of July and got on board and made it official on Friday, with a fellow surfer officiating on the water. Congrats, Brian and Val! May the waves be great for the rest of your lives!
