UFT Chapter of Rockaway Park High School for Environmental Sustainability Organizes Community Food Drive & Dinner

The Beach Channel Educational Campus is giving back to the community this season by organizing a food drive and hosting a community dinner for local families on Tuesday, November 26, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The food drive is a collaborative effort with the Campus schools. Donations of non-perishable food items are currently being collected and can be dropped off at the Beach Channel Campus building at 100-00 Beach Channel Drive.

On Tuesday, November 26, all are invited to attend a warm and welcoming community dinner at the Campus, where families will also receive bags of groceries made possible through the food drive’s generous donations.

To reserve a spot at the dinner, please call or text 347-916-5537, and leave a message with the number of individuals who will be attending. Walk-ins are also welcome on the day of the event.

This initiative reflects the schools’ shared commitment to sustainability, community care, and supporting Rockaway families during the holiday season.
