Knights of Columbus Keep Christ in Christmas

The tradition continues as the members of the Rockaway Council Knights of Columbus #2672, located on Beach 90th Street, once again erected three Nativity Scenes in the Rockaways to celebrate the birth of the Lord.

The crèches, which come with the message “Christmas Begins With Christ” are located at Beach 116th Street near the Christmas tree, at Saint Camillus Church and on Beach 90th Street on the Council grounds.

Celebrating their 97th year in the Rockaways, the Knights and Columbiettes extend warm wishes for a merry and blessed Christmas, and a joyful and healthy 2026 to all their families, friends, and neighbors.

The Council would like to thank Brother Knight Tom Elges who built all three mangers. Tom is a talented carpenter who has been an active member of the Council for the past 40 years!
