 Sauerkraut Bacon  and Onion

Ingredients:

  • 8-12 ounces of No yolk noodles (use whatever pasta you like)
  • 1 jar (14-16 (ounces) sauerkraut, drained and chopped
  • ½ pound bacon
  • 1 large sweet onion, diced
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt
  • Pepper

 

Directions:

Boil the pasta according to directions.

Cut bacon into pieces, cook until crispy. Remove from pan. Add the diced onions into the bacon fat. Caramelize the onions. Takes 10-15 minutes. Add the sauerkraut until slightly browned. Season with salt and pepper.

Add the noodles into the pan and mix. Then return the bacon.

Add salt and pepper to taste.
