Temple Beth-el Invites All for Holocaust Remembrance Commemoration

Temple Beth-el of Rockaway Park and the West End Temple invite the entire Rockaway community to our annual Yom Hashoah commemoration, a remembrance of the six million Jews and millions of other people killed by the Nazis because of baseless hatred.

The keynote speaker is survivor Asher Maththias. Rabbi Matt Carl of Temple Beth-el and Rabbi Rebecca Epstein of the West End Temple will also speak at the service. During the service, family members of Holocaust survivors will be lighting candles in memory of all of those murdered because of their faith.

The Yom Hashoah remembrance will be held at Temple Beth-el, located on the corner of Beach 121st St. and Rockaway Beach Blvd., on Sunday, April 12 at 1 p.m. Reservations are required by April 9. Please call 718-634-8100.
