We Are Not Alone

 We Are Not Alone

Dear Editor:

The 11:30 a.m. Mass at St. Camillus on Sunday was celebrated for the first time by Fr. Kuroly and Deacon Mike. Fr. Kuroly’s message was clear and simple. He reminds us that we are not alone. As we face life’s ups and downs, we need to turn to the Lord and pray. In honor of Mother’s Day, we should be reminded through the Crowning of the Blessed Mother Mary that She was a woman and a mother that experienced joy, heartache and suffering, who we can also turn to in prayer.

Prayer has gotten us this far. We need to continue to pray for the success of the St. Camillus-St. Virgilius Parish.

Next weekend is very busy in the St. Camillus-St. Virgilius Parish. On Saturday, May 16, after the 4 p.m. Mass in St. Virgilius, there will be a blessing of the new Parish Center followed by a small reception. On Sunday, May 17, after the 11:30 a.m. Mass in St. Camillus, Fr. Kuroly will be hosting a “town hall” meeting in Springman Hall to share his initial plans for the Parish followed by a Q&A session. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided. All are welcome to these events.

Please support the AOH Irish Festival scheduled on June 6 and 7 in the Springman Hall parking lot. Buy raffle tickets and a beautiful t-shirt that are being sold after Mass. All proceeds this year will be donated to the Parish.

Faith in Action,
