A Successful Fundraiser to Serve Our Veterans

On Sunday, April 6, the American Legion Daniel M. O’Connell Auxiliary Unit 272 celebrated a successful annual spring fundraiser. The luncheon event, hosted at the Knights of Columbus, was spearheaded by Auxiliary Unit President Theresa Trainor and organized by the members. Guests enjoyed food, raffles, dancing and more. Councilwoman Joann Ariola even stopped by to show her support. All proceeds from the event will go towards veteran programs at Saint Albans Federal and State Veterans Affairs Facilities including Wreathes Across America, Big Apple Honor Flight and all veteran-led programs within the Rockaway community.
