Graybeards Family Run on July 26
The 21st annual Graybeards Family Run will return this year on Friday, July 26.
The evening will begin with children’s races of varying lengths along Rockaway Beach Blvd. at 6:30 p.m. An inspirational run by Rockaway’s Special Athletes will follow at 6:45 p.m. The 1 Mile Run is next at 7 p.m. and then the marquee 5k Run at 7:15. Post-race festivities will be in St. Francis de Sales Fr. Grogan Memorial Schoolyard, and includes food, beverages, children’s activities, awards, raffles, and live music.
In person registration is available at St. Francis on July 20 from10 to 12 p.m., July 21 from 10 to 1 p.m., July 25 from 6 to 8 p.m., and on the day of the race, July 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. Please see the ad in this paper on page 2 or contact therockawaygraybeards@gmail.com for more information.
