High Tide

 High Tide

It’s December! All those arguments about whether it’s too early for Christmas lights or music are officially out the window. Like it or not, the holiday season is here — and we love it!

The peninsula is buzzing this time of year. From holiday lights to festive events to great live music at local establishments, there’s a lot going on. Don’t forget to check out our loyal advertisers’ ads in the paper, as well as our “Things to Do” and “Rockaway Good Times” sections, to stay up to date so you don’t miss anything.

The holiday season also brings plenty of local markets and pop-up boutiques. If you’ve waited until the last minute to do your gift shopping, here’s your solution — and you’ll be supporting local businesses at the same time! Many of our loyal advertisers are offering fantastic holiday specials. When you take advantage of those deals, be sure to tell them you saw their ad in The Rockaway Times. We always appreciate that! Supporting local businesses — not just our advertisers, but every shop and restaurant around town — is more important than ever.
