Paper Straws Do Suck!

Dear Editor:

As you are aware, I religiously read your paper. I had to chuckle about your article (McVeighing In on 07/03) on paper straws. It turns out the internet must have known I was reading an article on paper straws as there was a video regarding paper straws on my feed shortly after reading the article.

The video stated that the glue in the paper straws was toxic. So maybe sustainable but killing us lol. Also, straws create lip wrinkles. Straws do have some benefit, they prevent tooth staining and slow the reaction with sugar and acid on the teeth. Thank you for kicking off my 4th with a chuckle.
