Police Seek Shooting Suspect

Police are seeking a suspect involved in a shooting on Beach 14th Street on the night of Saturday, Nov. 15.
According to the NYPD, at around 11:20 p.m., a masked gunman wearing a red jacket over a grey hoodie, shot a 31-year-old victim who was sitting in a parked car in front of a liquor store at 289 Beach 14th Street. The gunman fired into the car several times, hitting the victim in the chest and stomach, before fleeing northbound toward New Haven Avenue.
The victim was initially taken to St. John’s Episcopal Hospital and then transferred to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. He remains in critical condition.
Police believe the shooting was targeted. A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to his arrest.
