Reid’s Studio to Offer Hair Services for Toy Donations

As part of the Locals Helping Locals toy drive, Reid’s Studio 28, located at 173 Beach 116th Street, is hosting a special event on Monday, December 2 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., to pay it forward to those donating toys. She and her staff, including the newest additions of Gus and David, will be providing free buzz cuts for boys and free braids and hair tinsel for girls, in exchange for a donated toy of any value towards the toy drive.
“You don’t have to spend a lot, it’s just about giving and making sure kids have something to open for the holidays,” Reid’s Studio owner Sharon Johannesen Nicholsen said. “I want people to come in with gifts so we can share our gifts with them.”
