Plot: Sofia works as a location scout for a network TV show shooting in NYC. “The Scout,” explores one woman’s quiet journey through other peoples’ worlds as she struggles to find her own. Calling all merlovers! The Rockaway Mermaid Brigade in partnership with NYC Parks Department is back with the Annual Poseidon Parade—a day of fun and fantasy on the boardwalk. Fin-up or swim by to see this parade of merfolk and floats. Check-in/ registration: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Caracas, Beach 106th Concession. Paraders swim downstream to Beach 95th Street Amphitheater/boardwalk for dancing, activities and awards. Plus, Solshyne headlines the music for the event!
