Summer Classic Coaches

Much of the strength of the St. Francis Summer Classic comes from the outstanding roster of coaches who volunteer their services. They have a challenging task to quickly mold a group of 10-12 players from different parishes and neighborhoods, and with different levels of skill, into a ‘team.’ They try to compete as strongly as possible, while understanding that everyone is here to play. A large number have been coaching in the Summer Classic for many years and many have experience coaching and playing at the High School and Collegiate levels.

This year’s Summer Classic coaches are:

Second Grade – Rich Henderson, Kelli Tirado, Rob McGuinness, Tim Wilson, Tommy Murphy and Caroline Chelales.

Girls Grammar Junior – Mike O’Brien, John Wassenbergh, Luca Perrotta, Matteo Perrotta, John Casey, Casey Vitale, Megan Keiley, John Moran, Jeanine McDonald, Bill Gehrhardt, Lisa Hayden, Tommy Burns and Doug Carroll.

Girls Grammar Senior – Mike Brenna, Ed Dennis, Kate Hughes, Marianne Hanning, Nicole Moran, Callie Mullin, Lucy Kuhlmann, Tess Kuhlmann, Mairead Fitzgerald, Sharlotte Greene, Ava Powell and Maeve Bartholomeo.

Girls High School – Caitlin Mullin, Pat Palmese, Mike Grimaldi and Randy Neiswenter.

Boys Grammar Junior – Dylan Grosseto, Bryan McKinnon-Doyle, Curtis Borgstede, JR Riley, Nick Cromie, Rob McGuinness, Dan Quinn, Leon Matthews, Chris Gatto, Mike Mosiello, David Graves Sr, David Graves Jr, Michael McCann andLogan Wassenbergh.

Boys Grammar Middle – John Raphael, Frank Wassenbergh, Jim Egan, Rich Larkin, Sean Hayden, JoJo O’Grady Jr, Brayden Ronayne, Jack O’Grady, Hughie Courtney, Matt Courtney, Colin Courtney, Greg Bender, Peter Brady and Casey Sullivan.

Boys Grammar Senior – Patrick Hayden, Terence Moriarty, Pat Nash, Paul Casares, Mike Brenna, Michael Clark, Charlie Marquardt, Shane Gauvard, Kathleen Tomassetti, Joe Visco, Curtis Borgstede, Eugene Brennan, John Briody and Joe Burns.

Boys High School – Joe Courtney, John Ronayne, Ryan Woerner, Dan Leary, Erik McManus, Bob Leckie, Joe Featherston, Matt Glynn, Kevin Moroney, Tommy Coates, JR Riley, Terry Greene, Dan Edwards, Alex Goldberg, Jimmy O’Sullivan, Tommy Murphy, Michael Friedman, Richard George, Joe Harkins, Jim McCool, Sid Rosenberg and Ryan Moran.

Playoffs will begin on Wednesday, August 6 with first round games for the Boys Grammar Middle, Grammar Senior, and High School divisions, while all other divisions will complete regular season play. Come catch the action at the St. Francis Summer Classic.
