On Saturday, May 16 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., head to the Knights of Columbus (333 Beach 90th St.) for MakeMyMotherProud’s Adult Prom. Theme: The Derby. Hosted by Hollywood Chuck. Horseshoe Crab Festival
On Sunday, May 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., head to Sunset Cove at West 20th Rd. in Broad Channel to join for a guided walk to find horseshoe crabs, learn about them and enjoy kids’ activities.
Rockaway Running Camp Q&A
On Sunday, May 17, after each Mass at St. Francis de Sales Church on Beach 129th Street (after 8 a.m., 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.), head to the small hall to learn about and register for Rockaway Running Camp. Rockaway Irish Festival
Save the date! On Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7, head to the St. Camillus parking lot on Beach 100th Street for the annual Irish Festival. Enjoy a day of live music, food, drinks, vendors, bouncy houses and face painting for kids and more. $20 entry, kids 12 and under are free.
