Unflattering Facilities

Totally agree with last week’s letter about the concessions. They are awesome and they pay for excellent entertainment; 97th Concession had WINE WITH SUE on July 4th weekend and it was FANTASTIC.

However, it is impossible to enjoy the concessions when the bathrooms are disgusting – never have tissue paper, flooded, etc. I reached out to local officials; no response. I am wondering what it will take to get the Parks Department to do its job and maintain these facilities. (The bathrooms in Riis Park do not look like this. They are cleaned and usually stocked with supplies. They did an excellent job last week when Wednesday night volleyball had another great band, THE WADES.)

Seems like NYC needs the help of the FEDS on this issue as well!!!
