100 Pct Nabs the Grinch’s Getaway Vehicle
You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch, but you’re no match for the 100th Precinct. For a few weeks, a real-life Grinch in a U-Haul was going from Arverne in Rockaway to Howard Beach, stealing people’s packages ahead of the holidays.
Local NYPD Precincts had the U-Haul’s number on their radar, and when officers from the 100th Precinct spotted it parked outside of a home on Beach 68th Street, they made their move. Unfortunately, the vehicle was unoccupied at the time, so no arrest was made, but the officers were able to confiscate the entire U-Haul full of people’s packages.
The NYPD then brought them to the appropriate precinct areas so the officers could deliver the packages to their rightful recipients in time for the holidays. Way to go, officers!
