 100th Precinct Serves on Thanksgiving

Police officers don’t always get Thanksgiving off, but for some, it can be a day to not only protect, but serve. This Thanksgiving, the 100th Precinct and others did just that, serving up free Thanksgiving meals to all who needed it.

On Thursday, November 23, 100th Precinct Captain Carol Hamilton and her officers, NYPD Explorers, members of the Rockaway Kiwanis Club, House on the Rock Church, Guardian Angels and others teamed up to dish out hot food to more than 500 people in need at the Precinct on Beach 94th Street, plus seniors and disabled folks that they delivered food to at home. Good job, all!
