7th Grade Celtics Split Games During Lightning League

On Saturday morning, May 3, the Celtics faced off against the Court Kings Leroy at Adelphi University, achieving an impressive victory. Joe Bean led the team with 25 points, while Petey Hayden contributed 10 points. Other key offensive players included Johnny Evangalista, Jack Belford, Thomas Tacconni, and Silas Porcella.

Later that night, the Celtics took on the sharp-shooting Eclipse SRB at Rising Stars. Despite being tired, the team fought hard but ultimately lost 59-46. Jack Belford made four three-pointers, finishing with a total of 14 points. Ryan Tubridy added 13 points, and Silas Porcella scored 8 points. Kevin Papadopoulos showcased impressive defense and made several steals, but the Celtics were unable to maintain their lead in the third quarter.

The next game is Friday night at the Massapequa Field House.
