Plover Project Partners Show Pre-Thanksgiving Love

Before the official turkey day, fans of another bird, NYC Plover Project, held a Thanksgiving potluck food giveaway on Sunday, November 23.

NYC Plover Project and their volunteers teamed up with Lou Harris of Black Surfing Rockaway, National Park Service rangers Joelle and Flor, and the 100th Precinct, to host a potluck dinner in front of the precinct. The annual potluck was their biggest yet with more than 70 people receiving a hot plate of Thanksgiving food to bring home.
