Jammed at St. Camillus

Dear Editor:

We experienced a new high Sunday at the 11:30 a.m. Mass. A traffic jam on Beach 100th Street with cars coming and going in the parking lot. A people jam leaving the church. What a great sight to see. But most importantly to turn around to see the pews filled with families, children, young adults and familiar faces and watching the procession of people receiving Holy Communion. What a beautiful feeling! The Rockaway community is living the Lord’s command. To Love one another as I have loved you, and love your neighbor as yourself.

Thank you to the Special Olympics, Graybeards, and the Columbiettes and the families for joining the St. Camillus parishioners in celebrating Mass. As Fr. Chuck said we need to look out for each other!
