Coming into the week at 5-1 in PSAL action, the Dolphins were prepared for two more away games on the PSAL docket. It was time to travel to Flushing and Jamaica for two tilts against PSAL foes on the other side of the Queens A Division.

The first game of the week had the Dolphins traveling to Flushing to take on the Red Devils of Flushing HS. The opening of this game saw the Dolphins jump out to a 17-7 lead after the first quarter and then turning it up for a 34-15 lead at halftime. The game would continue to roll the Dolphins way as they outscored the Red Devils 21-9 in the third quarter. When the horn sounded, the Dolphins would beat the Red Devils of Flushing by the score of 60-29. Malakai Clark would finish the game with 19 points with Jamell Fletcher and George Hance pitching in 16 and 15 points respectively.

The second game of the week had the Dolphins traveling into Jamaica to take on the Hawks of Hillcrest HS. The first quarter would come and go with the Dolphins staring up at the scoreboard down three. The second quarter was different as the Dolphins had an offensive explosion. They would outscore the Hawks 28-11 in the second quarter to take a 43-29 lead at halftime. The third quarter was much the same as the Dolphins outscored the Hawks 21-4. In the end, the Dolphins defeated Hillcrest 82-54. Senior Malaki Clark was the leading scorer with 24 points. Senior George Hance had 13 points with eight assists. Junior Dante Cummings pitched in with 11 points and five rebounds. This win catapulted the Dolphins to 7-1 in PSAL play, with a firm hold on first play in the division.

On Saturday, December 17, the Dolphins were asked to participate in the Campus Magnet Holiday Basketball Tournament. The Dolphins would take on Manhattan Center for Science and Math. This is a Manhattan AA Division squad from Harlem. This game was a wire-to-wire victory for the Dolphins as they led big throughout. When the horn sounded, the Dolphins defeated the Rams of Manhattan Center by the score of 59-26. Pictured are Head Coach Rich George and Assistant Coach Mo Johnson. Winning the Sportsmanship Award plaque was Senior Rahje Theophile and taking the Game MVP trophy was Senior Malakai Clark. Go Dolphins!!!
