Congrats, Kathleen and Tim

Speaking of weddings, congratulations to Kathleen O’Rourke and Tim Moriarty on their recent marriage. On Tuesday, April 4, after 30 years together, the happy couple made their way to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church for a simple afternoon wedding ceremony led by Pastor Debra White. These soulmates exchanged Irish wedding bands and officially tied the knot!

Kathleen O’Rourke is a local artist and Tim Moriarty is a local photographer who regularly contributes to The Rockaway Times’ Local Color section and is right on the beat when it comes to some local news events. This week, he even won second place from the New York Press Association for Spot News Photo for his photo of surfers rescuing a whale, that was featured on the cover of the paper in December. A marriage and an award all in one week! Congrats, Tim and his beautiful bride, Kathleen!
