Congratulations, April Fools

We don’t know if anyone can top Pat Brady’s epic April Fool’s prank but it sure was a good one. On Saturday, April 1, Patrick Brady, known to many as one of Rockaway’s best bartenders, had invited about 300 of his friends and family to The Rockaway Hotel in celebration of turning 40 two days earlier. Shortly after the guests arrived for the birthday bash, Pat and his lady, Kara Yankay, disappeared for a quick outfit change and dropped a major surprise on the guests. This wasn’t just a birthday party—it was their wedding!

The happy couple were married at the Hotel and danced the night away with their friends and family.

They’ll never forget that anniversary. Congratulations to Pat and his beautiful bride, Kara!
