Congratulations, Father Jim!

On Wednesday, December 10, Rockaway’s own Fr. Jim Cunningham was honored by the Catholic Teachers Association (CTA) of the Diocese of Brooklyn. Fr. Jim served for many years as the CTA’s moderator.

There are many public school educators—teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, administrators, and more —­ living and working on the peninsula, and the CTA is always looking for new members. The association also raises funds for scholarships for high school students applying to college and sponsors two days of prayer each year for its members.
