Efficiency & Effectiveness Needed

Dear Editor:
I was surprised to see that Assemblywoman Pheffer Amato has been celebrating because a record number of constituents have been helped by her office; and that her team was instrumental in cutting through the “red tape.” She totally misses the point that Red Tape comes from Democrats continually taking citizens tax money and growing the government.
Most Americans are self-reliant. We don’t want to need help to solve our problems. This bureaucracy is becoming so bloated that it can no longer be navigated by the citizens it is supposed to serve. Rather than celebrate this increasing reliance on the government to solve our problems, elected representatives should be working to reduce the size and complexity of our government. It’s 2025. Efficiency and effectiveness are attainable goals.
