• Chile is home to a telescope facility that is named, interestingly enough, “The Very Large Telescope.”

• The pet turtles in Rocky 1 (1976) are the same turtles used in Creed II (2018). Their names are Cuff and Link.

• The largest art heist in history took place back in 1990 at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. It involved 13 paintings worth $500M.

• If the “shells” on top of the Sydney Opera House were to be reassembled, they would form a perfect sphere.

• There are hundreds of volcanoes in Saudi Arabia. The last time one erupted was in 1256 AD.

• The city of Boston had more people living in it in 1950 (801,444) than it does now (653,833).

• In an effort to move on from the name Constantinople, Turkey officially stopped delivering mail labelled to that name in 1930.

• In the 2008 movie “The Dark Knight,” Bruce Wayne drives a Lamborghini Murciélago. Murciélago is Spanish for “bat.”
