- In 1973, Fritz Peterson and Mike Kekich, two popular pitchers for the Yankees, legally swapped families. This included wives, kids, and dogs. To this day, Peterson is still together with his new wife. Kekich’s new family didn’t work out so well.
- Robert E. Lee, commander of the Confederate States Army in the Civil War, was married to George Washington’s step-great-granddaughter.
