Gas Bills Heat Up

Dear Editor:

Am I the only National Grid customer whose bill DOUBLED over the last month?

Does this relate to the installation of the proposed pipeline? If so, this is an unconscionable surge for services provided. Not only the fish will be upset about the new pipeline being installed!

Editor’s Note: The recently approved Williams NESE natural gas pipeline, which will connect to the existing Williams pipeline off of Riis Park from NJ, won’t begin construction until late 2026. It is expected to be complete in late 2027, however it faces ongoing legal challenges.
