Graybeards Lead Another Successful Food Drive

Volunteers collected almost 1,200 bags of food during the Graybeards semi- annual food drive on Saturday, May 17. The food was distributed to various food pantries in the Rockaways, including St. Mary Star of the Sea, in an effort to assist those most in need in the community.

If you did not get a chance to donate on Saturday, it’s not too late. Food donations can be dropped off at St Francis de Sales rectory porch at 129-16 Rockaway Beach Blvd. (the corner of Beach 130th Street). Thank you to all in the community who filled their blue bags with donations!
