High Tide

This Saturday, October 19, our friends from the Harbor Light, Callie’s, Pico, Jamesons, and Panini Rustico-Baya Bar will be hosting the Third Annual Fall Freedom Fest. It is always full of good fun, music and company, and we are sure it will be again this year. Fingers crossed on the weather for them. But we have been told it is rain or shine, so either way, get out and enjoy Freedom Fest. You can check out their ad on page 9 for more details.

At around 7:30 p.m. and again after 10 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, there was a flare up that in a super rare event, made the aurora visible here and as far as South Carolina. It was a bit hard to see with the naked eye, but many caught the phenomenon on night mode on cell phone cameras.
