The St. John’s Red Storm men’s basketball team made it a “sand storm” on Tuesday as Queens’ favorite basketball team took a trip to Queens’ favorite beach. It was not all fun and games for this tournament hopeful team, however. The visit was instead for a workout in the soft sand in Riis Park and in Belle Harbor. After what we hope is a successful March next year, maybe the team will return for a more leisurely beach day.
