Joy from Jean

Dear Editor:

I’d like if you would publish this letter about your columnist Jean Caligiuri McKenna’s wonderful stories!

I’ve been a big fan of Miss Jean Caligiuri McKenna’s heartwarming stories of her childhood memories of Rockaway and wanted to acknowledge her talents!

Every time I turn the page of the Rockaway Times and see her article, I’m excited to read it.

With her evocative words, she paints such a vivid picture of Rockaway in the ‘40s, ‘50s and ‘60s and brings back many fond memories for me.

In addition, there are many “life lessons” to be learned from her stories.

Keep up the great work Jean!
