LOCATION

 LOCATION

“Location, Location, Location” are often the three most used words in discussions about purchasing real estate. Here are some thoughts for your location decision:

Spend some time hanging around your area of interest in order to become familiar with it – unless you already know it well. When I bought my house many years ago, I was nervous and undecided until I spoke with a friendly neighbor who was walking by pushing a baby carriage. He assuaged all my concerns – and he was right!

Do you need to be within walking distance of a bus stop, subway stop, religious institution, school, shopping? OR perhaps you don’t want to be too close to any of the aforementioned (due to auto traffic, etc.)?

Want water views? Ocean views? Bay views? In Rockaway, the homes on beach blocks generally cost more. Houses with bay views can be a relative “bargain” due to the longer walk to the beach, etc. I’ve had good success in selling such houses, and I currently have buyers interested in bay views. Of course, I’ve had a lot of success selling beach block houses, as well. Currently, I also have active buyers looking for beach block houses, and all types of Rockaway property. Call me. Love, Robin .
