News On Naomi, Kazuchika Okada & AJ Lee

Hey Wrestle Talk fans! I hope you all are having a great start to the new year! Let’s dive right into some wrestling news!

AEW Super Shawn Spears, who is no longer with AEW, was recently seen backstage at a TNA Wrestling taping in Orlando, Florida. He was seen talking to various company executives, leading many to believe that he was there to see if there were future opportunities in TNA. TNA has recently signed numerous free agents like Nic Nemeth (formerly Dolph Ziggler) and Ash By Elegance (formerly Dana Brooke). We will keep you posted.

We have new reports coming out of the WWE regarding former WWE Superstar AJ Lee. Reports are saying that now that her husband, CM Punk, is back with the WWE that we may see AJ Lee return possibly at this year’s 2024 Royal Rumble Live Premium Event. I would love to see this happen, so we will keep an eye on this story.

Staying with the WWE, Imperium Member Giovanni Vinci has returned to in-ring action after suffering a concussion during a Tag Team Match with his partner, Ludwig Kaiser, against Jey Uso and Kofi Kingston.

As previously reported here on Wrestle Talk, we can confirm that Naomi (Trinity Fatu) will be returning to the WWE at the Royal Rumble Live Premium Event on January 27, 2024. Trinity gave a farewell speech at a recent TNA Wrestling taping. We wish Trinity all the best on her return to the WWE.

New Japan Pro Wrestling Superstar Minoru Suzuki is scheduled to make his return to the United States for Major League Wrestling (MLW). Many fans of MLW are happy to hear this and are looking forward to seeing Minoru Suzuki back state side. I am definitely looking forward to seeing him again!

The Question of The Week comes from Marie K. in Rockaway Beach, and she asked, “I read that Kazuchika Okada had left New Japan Pro Wrestling. Do you know the reasons why?” Hi Marie, Okada recently announced that he was leaving because he wanted to see what opportunities were out there for him. He would have stayed in NJPW, but then he would have felt like he wouldn’t grow more as a performer. It’s going to be very interesting to see where “The Rainmaker” will land next. Thanks for the question!

If you have a question or comment, please send it to eavil183@yahoo.com and have a great weekend!
