 Osina Helps Remove Long-Standing Scaffolding

Pesach Osina, candidate for New York State Assembly in the 23rd District, recently met with tenants at Ocean Park Apartments on Beach 17th Street in Far Rockaway, who expressed deep frustration over scaffolding that had remained in place far longer than expected. Residents raised serious concerns about safety, quality of life, and the lack of visible progress.

“With over two decades of experience in local government, I know exactly how to cut through bureaucratic red tape and get things done,” Osina said. “That’s exactly what I set out to do for the tenants of Ocean Park.”

After listening closely to the tenants’ concerns, Osina took immediate action. He engaged directly with building management and escalated the issue to the Department of Buildings to ensure accountability and prompt resolution.

The scaffolding has finally been removed.

“I’m committed to being a strong effective voice for our communities,” Osina added. “This is what that looks like  – solving problems and delivering results  – even before holding office.”

Osina is a candidate for Assembly District 23, representing the communities of the Rockaways, Broad Channel, Howard Beach, Hamilton Beach and Ozone Park.
