Pheffer Amato Brings MetroCard Bus To Rockaway
Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato has once again partnered with the MTA to bring their mobile van to the community. The van will be at the First Congregational Church, located at 320 Beach 94th Street, on Thursday, August 29 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. During that time, residents can obtain or refill their Senior or Disability Reduced Fare MetroCard, transfer balances, and get answers to questions about other services provided by the MTA.
The MetroCard Van is one of the Assemblywoman’s most sought after events. “This is such a vital service for our community, especially for our seniors as so many of these services are not readily available at stations in our community. I want to create more access and accessibility for people to get around our City when dealing with public transportation. We need to make things easier for people, and this van is a great tool to do that,” Pheffer Amato said.
Pheffer Amato has also secured that the van will be at JASA on Beach 19th Street on Monday, September 30 and then at the Lindenwood Shopping Center on Tuesday, October 29 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
