Riis Guard Tops Red Bull Ironman Competition

O’Neill continues to be the best on the beach. Last year, Riis Park lifeguard Thomas O’Neill came in first in the Ironman competition of the United States Lifesaving Association’s National Lifeguard Championships. Now he just took first in the Ironman for the Enduro division in the Red Bull Surf & Rescue competition in Ventnor Beach, NJ His prize? A trip to Biarritz, France for the Red Bull lifeguard competition there on November 16. O’Neill is on his 18th summer of lifeguarding at Riis Park. Congrats, Tom!
