7TH ANNUAL ROCKAWAY SANDCASTLE CONTEST

SUNDAY, August 6

The Rockaway Times Annual Sandcastle Contest is a much-anticipated Rockaway summertime tradition, and all are welcome to flex their sand sculpting skills or just watch. Registration begins at 11 a.m. on the boardwalk at Beach 117th. Contest begins 12 p.m. sharp. Contestants have two hours to make their creations before judging begins. Trophies and prizes for winners, and giveaways for all participants.
