Rockaway Holds a Third No Kings Protest
On Saturday, March 28, some Rockaway residents participated in the third iteration of the No Kings protest. This time the protest began at the Beach 94th Amphitheater and continued with a march to the beat of drums to Congressman Gregory Meeks’ office on Beach 67th Street.

An effort that began with the first nationwide protest on June 14, “NO KINGS is a peaceful national day of action and mass mobilization in response to the increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump administration,” according to www.NoKings.org.
At Rockaway’s protest, several gave speeches and a “Love Thy Neighbor” community quilt, made by Benevolent Objects, was unveiled at the Amphitheater.
