SFDS 5th Grade Girls Crowned Champs
This past Sunday at McClancy High School, the fifth grade SFDS Girls basketball team won the Brooklyn-Queens Diocesan Championship over St. Camillus by a score of 34-24. Mara Brady led with 18 points, Ava Masullo had 10 points, and Kayla Egan and Juliette Jamin added key baskets. The team has worked extremely hard all season, working on their offensive plays and defensive game plan to accomplish a successful season. The family and friends who came out to support the team all season long, especially on Sunday, have been awesome. The coaches Kerry Brady, Mike Brenna, and Courtney McCool are extremely proud of all the girls and what they achieved throughout the season.
