Steadfast Democrat

Dear Editor:

I am responding to Mary Glynn’s request for Democrats to join the Republican Party. Republicans are responsible for cutting off food to children dying of hunger. Republicans are responsible for the pardons of the convicted felons that attacked our Capitol. Republicans are responsible for the fear that the Capitol Police and FBI agents have for themselves and their families because those convicted felons promised retaliation. Republicans are responsible for the dismantling of our government institutions that may not be perfect but are necessary. Republicans are responsible for the chaos in our country and around the world. Why would anyone want to be party to this? About a third of the country did not vote in November. Republicans are making it preferable to join a party with compassion like the Democratic Party. Democrats are more united than ever!
