Summer Classic Sponsors

While the rain came once again last Monday, July 14, the rest of the week stayed dry and games added on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday helped get things caught up a bit for the Summer Classic.

The Summer Classic also added a new division for the Rockaway Special athletes who began on Thursday, July 17, and will play in the gym at 5:45 p.m. each Thursday under the direction of Joe Featherston. The group is sponsored by Will2Win.

Tonight’s games, Thursday, July 24, include Rockaway Special Athletes, Men’s Open, and make up games for Boys High School and Girls Grammar Senior. The championships for the Graybeards divisions are at St. Camillus Springman Hall.

Next week will be the last full week of regular season games depending on the weather. Playoffs will begin in August. Playoff schedule will be in next week’s edition.
