Sun Finally Shines on Rockaway Little League!

Mother Nature has washed out a lot of games at Rockaway Little League this year, but on Mother’s Day, May 11, the sun shined and there was plenty of action. Games were played in the T-Ball, Pee Wee Jr., Minor Girls and Minor Boys divisions at the fields in Fort Tilden.

In competitive play, the Shannon Florist softball team edged the Wharf Brats 6-5. In Minor Boys baseball, Giuseppe’s Barbershop topped TK Foundation. With one month remaining in the regular season, let’s hope the sun keeps shining!
