Super Safety Week at P.S. 114

P.S. 114 proudly celebrated its annual Safety Week during the week of January 26, highlighting the school’s ongoing commitment to student well-being and safety. As part of the week’s activities, the Student Council sponsored a Safety Poster Contest, inviting all students to create posters illustrating the importance of safety in everyday life. Topics included school safety, beach safety, fire safety, school bus safety, internet safety, and bike safety.

Principal Jonathan Halfmann shared how incredibly proud he is of the students’ creativity, effort, and dedication to keeping themselves and others safe. All participants were recognized with participation certificates at the Safety Week Awards Ceremony, and the top winners from each grade received gift certificates.
